Arts and Crafts dining chairs

£0.00

A beautiful set of six Arts and Crafts dining chairs.

Oak with doweled joints and shaped finials

Shaped backs with square section legs tapering to octagons, drop in rush seats.

Circa 1895

These chairs have been attributed to William Letheby based on an armchair design with similar finials. It is more likely the chairs were made by a company such as Walter Skull of High Wycombe. Similar chairs were produced for Liberty & Co and also Morris & Co. Made to a very high standard.

Design attributed to William Lethaby (1857-1931)
