ARTHUR SIMPSON 1857 -1922

Simpson established is workshops in Kendal, his training and apprenticeship was with Gillows of Lancaster predominantly as a carver. He used high quality locally sourced timber for his designs, which were widely acclaimed. He exhibited alongside C.F.A Voysey and George Walton, accepted commissions from Voysey also Blackwell for Baillie Scott.
