Arts and Crafts fire screen in original green stained oak with two carved squares to top rail and pierced detailing to the base of the frame, on sledge feet. Fabric hanging insert designed by William Morris 1876-1877, “Tulip & Lily” woven by Heckmondwike Manufacturing Company.

This rare fabric machine woven wool cloth was both used as carpet as well as furnishing fabric.
