Glass inset to a walnut framed and open lattice work top. Tappering barely twist legs joined by shaped and arched stretchers on typical ball feet.

Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens (1869-1944) was an English Architect best known for his adaptation of traditional styles to the Arts and Crafts era. In his time he was one of the most celebrated architects of the “English Style”, designing country houses and celebrated for his plans for New Delhi India and the design for the Viceroy’s House. The writer and biographer Christopher Hussey wrote, "In his lifetime (Lutyens) was widely held to be our greatest architect since Wren if not, as many maintained, his superior".
